The s33k3rs are against us. We uncovered the name of their shieldcrafter, Zarek, which apparently ended him or her. Next, their binding master needed to be stopped to restore dolst, David Yamaguchi, and The Hunt Master (Nathan Israel) to their normal states. This is where the FAILSAFE script came in. Thanks to diligent hunters, crab230, jalebi, RainRain, and tomatogoatee, who solved these puzzles.
The name of the binding master was Rudolfo, and now that he has been taken out, dolst and Nathan are free again!
Still no word from David Yamaguchi tho. :-(
The FAILSAFE was running on the dolst family entertainment website since David was finally put to sleep. It was some kind of automated system for feeding us the name of the next s33k3r we needed to take out, although it was quite difficult to figure out.
----BYTECODE ONE----
The first phase of the script led us to this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5o9vHyQoVYY where dolst, who apparently has some flashes of memory of the Hunt, told us to check out his deviantart page for the first bytecode:
fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/179/d/b/FAILSAFE_FIRST_BYTECODE_by_dolst.jpg
UPDATE: It may be that the shapes in the image relate to the numbers, IE: triangle=3, square=4, jaggedy sharktooth looking thing=19, etc.
Not sure if the X is supposed to be a shape or a "times" symbol (since dolst's "X" tweet makes this ambiguous). Anyways, here is a best guess, as posted on RobloxHQ:
----BYTECODE TWO----
The second phase told us to "go back to the beginning" for data. I figured out that it meant Poochee and Pansy. Those videos had annotations waiting for us. This led us to: dolst.9k.com/gangadiddle/byt3c0d3numb3rtw0.gif
(May not load properly from clicking the link, so just copy and paste that URL and reload it and/or shift+reload to view the image.)
jalebi determined that there were hidden numbers in the words:
eXItIng - XII 12
eXcess IndignIty - XII 12
XaVIer - XVI 16
Veritas IbIs - VII 7
LeXIcon IconIc - LXIII 63
----BYTECODE THREE----
The third phase of the script took us here:
twitpic.com/21v09q
with the clue:
FAILSAFE SCRIPT, PHASE 3 COMPLETE*
Image autoposted.
Symmetry.
All your 8x8 base are belong to us.
Decay unlucky.
tomatogoatee figured out that it was the reading on the odometer encoded in base64 that was the password!
img375.imageshack.us/i/3rdbytecode.gif/
He also figured out the numbers, which appear to be in ROT13 (decay unlucky indeed):
FVK=SIX, BAR=ONE, AVAR=NINE, FRIRA=SEVEN, and GUVEGLFRIRA=THIRTYSEVEN
----BYTECODE FOUR----
Phase 4 just said
Be canine cue nine cue eh far.
This was a phonetic spelling of a megaupload URL: megaupload.com/?d=BK9Q9QFR
This led to a word doc that simply said "Atoning for educability through delicate beauty". There was an embedded rar containing two wav files. tomatogoatee came through again and figured out that the "difference" spoken of in the recordings was the image itself hidden in the longer one! And here it is:
img821.imageshack.us/i/4of7.gif/
----BYTECODE FIVE----
Phase 5
Video autoposted. You know where to look.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfQSDp_jOjg
dolst gives us his best trollface.
Anyway, the annotations spelled out: yfrog.com/2t14973263g
Another black and white boxy object with numbers in it. Credit to RainRain for figuring out that they were numbers.
Top: Thirteen
Left:Forty Two
Bottom:Ninety Two
Right:Seventeen
----BYTECODE SIX----
6th phase:
dolst Psychotrigger activated. Message tweeted.
dolst's tweet was another phonetic post. It was a puzzle where the solution was "Elsie-Bea ate one Gia Mess." This translated into LCB81GMS, which was a megaupload post:
megaupload.com/?d=LCB81GMS
This seems(!) like it's the 6th bytecode in its final form. It is a square with the following number(?) pattern:
Top: X+Y
Left: 23X
Right: X
Bottom: 73Y
If I have interpreted one of dolst's recent tweets correctly, then X is 4, therefore:
Top: 4+Y
Left: 92
Right: 4
Bottom: 73Y
crab230 intuited that Y may be implied to be 3, since it has 3 points, where X has 4.
At this point, that seems reasonable.
----BYTECODE SEVEN----
Phase 7 was posted recently, the final bytecode.
FAILSAFE SCRIPT, PHASE 7 (FINAL) ACTIVE
final bytecode dot gif
That was easy enough, once I thought about it:
dolst.9k.com/gangadiddle/finalbytecode.gif
(You will have to either copy/paste that link, or reload it once clicked, as 9k does not allow hotlinking.)
More numbers:
Top and/or Right: 41
Left: 84
Bottom: 29 (or maybe 67 with a fancy "7")

TL;DR SECTION for you ADHD kids. ;-)

1st bytecode, image, numbers probably based on shapes.

2nd bytecode, image, numbers decoded by jalebi.

3rd bytecode, image with embedded rar containing image.

(Be sure to save full size version to get the rar!)
Clues:
Symmetry.
All your 8x8 base are belong to us.
Decay unlucky.
4th bytecode, word doc with embedded rar containing two wav files.
megaupload.com/?d=BK9Q9QFR
Phrase in doc file:
"Atoning for educability through delicate beauty"
Difference in wav files was the gif file itself.
5th bytecode, image, numbers decoded by RainRain.
yfrog.com/2t14973263g
6th bytecode, image, numbers possibly decoded by crab230.
megaupload.com/?d=LCB81GMS
7th bytecode, image, numbers decoded:
dolst.9k.com/gangadiddle/finalbytecode.gif
Credit to tomatogoatee for figuring out that each bytecode image was a letter, and that the encoded numbers were the connection points between them. A tweet from the s33k3rs taunted us that they had interfered with the process, inadvertently giving us the clue we needed to put the numbers together. (OOG: It was likely a mistake on the puppetmasters' parts that they corrected on the fly. lol)

Top: 4 (and maybe 7)
Left: 3
Right: (maybe 7) and 4 (and maybe 3)
Bottom: 19 (and maybe 3)
If I'm right, it's pretty straightforward that the left is going to be 3 no matter what.
The top would be 4 by itself; 11 or 28 with the 7.
The right would be: 4 by itself; 11 or 28 with just the 7; 7 or 12 with just the 3; 14 or 84 with both.
OR, I just had a thoughth: What if the X is not a shape like the others (cuz, well, look at it, maybe it's not) and it's just a multiplyer! That would mean the 7 and 3 belong over there and that's just multiplying them and it's 21!
If the 3 goes with the 19 on the bottom, then it could be 12 or 57. But if the 3 is multiplied over on the right, then it's just 19.
