Thanks to Paperwulf for posting the puzzles. Worked at the first one posted and came up with "The Bull Danny Was Trailing Had Traveled Slowly For The Last Mile" Googled it, came up with a kids book called "Big Red". You can find it on Amazon. After that, I'm not sure what to make of it. I'm gonna work away at the other puzzles, for now. It is June second of the year 2012, and this is where we are.

Is it just me being unobservant, or do both of those word puzzle pictures displayed in the post say exactly the same thing?

This is what happens when I am constantly distracted. I bury myself in my work for weeks on end, and, when I get back here, it's for like, a minute, and I don't even notice we have a new Hunter!!!! Welcome teejayandjon!! Nice work on "Big Red", btw. I will have to try my hand at the other puzzles myself. It seems o obvious now!!! I will have to take a better look at them today and post what I figure out. Thanks again for cracking that nut for us! It's June 12, 2012, and this is where we are. PS: I like how you're using that tagline. ;-) EDIT: I'm working on 2.png now. Here is what I have so far, based on what teejayandjohn posted. desmond.imageshack.us/Himg84/scaled.php?server=84&filename=2workingon.jpg&res=landingThere are some spots that could be "the" or "she". I'm not sure if it's enough to Google on yet, but I'm going to try. EDIT 2: My exact Google search is: when was to "her uncle" book intro Top three results: "The Secret Garden", "Uncle Tom's Cabin", and, "The Borrowers." I'm going to look into them now.

Had a little downtime today and figured out the 2nd puzzle: "When Mary Lennox was sent to Misselthwaite Manor to live with her uncle everybody said she was the most disagreeable-looking child ever seen." It's the intro to the Secret Garden. And when I say, "I figured it out," what I really mean is, I googled the intro to the Secret Garden and it fit the puzzle. XD So it looks like we've got 2 childrens' novels so far. Big Red The Secret Garden Not sure what they mean yet, or, how they relate to the other puzzles. I will work on number three next. It's Saturday, June 16, 2012, and this is where we are. EDIT: I looked at the 2068 Keyboard, and I noticed the "F", "G", and "K" keys have little red "X2"s next to them. Handy dandy reference here, courtesy of Chaosky: img822.imageshack.us/img822/9717/2068n.jpgSo, that's 3 letters, times 2 each, right? That would be six. Is "6 missing" a reference to that maybe? Just a thought. EDIT 2, 3, and 4: If you came from /x/, then welcome! Amazing work!! (Link removed, as the /x/ thread is now dead.) Here's what /x/ figured out so far: Puzzle 3: Puzzle 4: EDIT 5: New tweet from Nathan: So, that one seems pretty blatant, at least to me. We don't need to worry about the stories, but the authors. Then that means we have: Jim Kjelgaard (Big Red) Frances Hodgson Burnett (Secret Garden) Chuck Palahniuk (Invisible Monsters) Fyodor Dostoevsky (Crime and Punishment) Funny, when you think about it, the first two are childrens' books, and the third and fourth are definitely not childrens' books. I haven't read Invisible Monster, but I don't see anything by Palahniuk as being kid-friendly, and, Dostoevsky is probably way too heavy for kids. Just an observation. Now, what do we do with the authors' names? It's June 19, 2012, and this is where we are.

Trying to figure out if those authors have anything in common at all... nothing so far. Then again I may be looking for the wrong things. Can anyone think of ANY reason they might be grouped together?
Tried googling the names together, came up with a bunch of "Dead or Alive?" Librarything pages but not much else.

Ooh! More tweets from Nathan!
All tweeted yesterday. Not sure what they mean yet, but it looks like math is involved. It's July 21, 2012, and this is where we are.
EDIT: I just remembered the keyboard shift technique: Type whatever is to the left of the character on the keyboard. Those who came from Robloxhq probably remember it. That gives us: a=letters b=those with a block So assuming the math formula, it's: (letters + 3 * 2) - those with a block (letters + 6) - those with a block Not sure what that means yet. It's July 22, 2012, and this is where we are.

Nice catch.
I'm kind of at a loss, too, unless it's a really cryptic way of saying "writer's block."
(Also, I've been lazy and haven't participated much. I'll remedy that right now.)

I'm not sure if I remember correctly because i literaly started following this today but didn't we mention something about a chess board and stop signs that worked as boxes or some shit? For the virginia location or whatever near the trees have we done anything about that? I'm just wondering and a little new to this so i've absorbed as quickly as possible, possibly looking over a lot.

Hey jfarag95, welcome to The Hunt! The stopsigns/chessboard thing is what we think is at Buckrow Beach, but somebody needs to go out there to see what is where. Unless... We are hoping that solving this latest puzzle will make it so we don't have to go there. That means we would only have to go to the location number 9 before finding the Gangadiddle. That's got to be it!! "those with a block" would be writers. a=letters b=those with a block (letters + 3 * 2) - those with a block (letters + 6) - writers The writers or authors would be subtracted from letters. I'm going to play with this and see what I come up with... I think I know where the "+6" part comes from too. It's Saturday, July 23, and this is where we are.

Thanks for the welcoming and stuff; well The Secret Garden has something called "The Letter Song" in it, maybe it could help us figure something out... Don't know any relations to big red though. It seems like letters were written back and forth between uncle and mary. Any relevance? www.metrolyrics.com/letter-song-lyrics-secret-garden.html
